Ted Buras, the founder of creator networking platform CollabGPS, recently joined host Lilly on the popular industry podcast Phone Sex with Lilly to discuss the business of independent content creation and the critical gaps in the market that inspired him to build the app.
“From the limited time when I did filming, I realized how important travel was,” Ted shared during the episode. “Find those stars that can help you get noticed. So, I wanted to build a travel component. I wanted to build the ability to see who’s coming to your city.”
That firsthand experience is the exact reason CollabGPS isn’t just another social feed. It’s built around a functional geo-location map, allowing touring creators to see who is active in their destination city, secure reliable scene partners, and maximize their earnings while on the road – without guessing who is legit in the DMs.
“I wanted to make something fun, unique for this community and the potential is pretty much limitless.”
Instead of letting creators get pushed to the margins of mainstream tech platforms that shadowban or exploit them, our goal is to give the adult community a dedicated digital home that actually respects the business of content creation.
